Chanel 2019 Paris New York Egypt Metiers D'Art Scarab Gold Plated Earrings

These are an extremely rare pair of scarab beetle clip on earrings from the Chanel 2019 Paris New York Egypt Metiers D'Art show. This was the last runway Karl Lagerfeld walked, and the show held at the Temple of Dendur in the Metropolitan Museum of New York, where Karl Lagerfeld transported everyone to ancient Egypt with Chanel’s pre-fall 2019 Métiers d’Art show. Gold plated with hieroglyphic details on the backing, the clip on is comfortable and there is padding to prevent slipping. Scarabs measure about 1.5 inches in length. Chanel 19A stamp on back. Comes with box, excellent condition. Note there is graining and marking in the gold for vintage effect, this is how they were designed. A collector's piece.
