Chanel 1960s Gilded Turquoise Birds Nest Pate De Verre Goossens ClipOn Earrings

Presenting a rare and remarkable find - Coco Chanel lifetime earrings by Robert Goossens. Creations from this highly recognizable collection produced from the late 1950s till the early 1960s have graced the Metropolitan Museum displays and featured prominently in various publications and exhibitions. These collectible Chanel Goossens earrings showcase faux turquoise pate de verre rounded cabochons, meticulously set in the signature handmade bird's nest wire setting made of gilded bronze.  Like many of Chanel's early costume jewelry creations, they are unsigned. Remarkably, these earrings were acquired from a model who worked closely with Mademoiselle Chanel herself during the 1960s. Despite their age, they remain in good condition, showcasing a beautiful patina and subtle signs of aging. Size: 1" / 2,5cm.
