This series was introduced in 1991 and retired January 1998. This Corinthian-style building stands proudly on 1st Street, near the Capitol. The U.S. Supreme Court is made of white marble and contains the large Memorial Hall, the Supreme Court Chamber and private chambers for the nine justices and their staff.
