mstout80 @mcbrundage so sorry for the delayed reply. I cannot find any label as to the type of material. It is very tightly woven, soft fiber with some weight to it-not as lightweight as I imagine silk would be in a garter. The material has a slight sheen, but not like satin, if that makes sense. I use mulberry silk scrunchies and this material is thicker than that. I’m unsure of whether or not it is silk or another type of fabric but if I had to guess, I would say it is probably not silk.
