Carved elephant tassel trade bead necklace

Vintage trade bead necklace with black and beige polished beads with a cluster of four carved elephants with beaded dangles. This necklace is from my mother in laws collection and she was an extensive traveler. Not quite sure which country she picked this up, but the necklace is quite unique.
