sarajmay is this considered a booster car seat? and can this hold a 3 year old who is 3 feet tall and 35lbs?

suzanne16101d Hi, his are you? .. my granddaughter is 2 yrs old.. but is 34 inches high.. she's in a 4t- 5.. just Wondered if you think this car seat will accommodate her? I understand there is no way of possibly being able to be 100% for sure... I’m just curious

mommyfriends @suzanne16101d car seats go by height and weight. This is an infant car seat. It’s meant for babies weighing up to 22 lbs and smaller than 29” tall. A preschooler or toddler won’t fit. Even many infants outgrow it around 9/10 months and need to be transitioned into a convertible car seat.

mommyfriends @sarajmay This isn’t a booster seat. It is an infant car seat. The limits on most are 22-35 pounds and up to 29/30” height. So this won’t hold a three year old. Each state has their own laws but in mine to ride in a booster they need to be at least 5 and 40 lbs. May want to look those up for your state so you know what seat the kiddo needs
