The special water-repellent finish keeps moisture off the fabric. Rain slides down and rolls off so you stay dryer inside. Nylon stands tough against rips and tears, but it’s smooth and lightweight. The interior of this Carhartt jacket is lined with 100% polyester mesh material. The mesh design prevents the polyester from holding heat in around the body so you stay cooler. But the strong lining isn't all you'll find in this waterproof jacket. There's also an inner membrane that blocks moisture. The membrane is breathable to release heat while still keeping you dry. Lightweight, abrasion-resistant nylon lines the sleeves and hood of this olive green jacket. Smooth lining slides easily over skin and clothing. The removable hood is made with a contoured, three-piece design to fit well against your head. Use the draw cord on the hood to further adjust the fit. The elastic drawcord in the hem allows you to adjust the fit here, too, and keep out that wet weather.
