Made of a 12 ounce firm hand duck cotton, and lined with a quilted polyester artic nylon weighted insulation; it is the ideal compliment to any Duck Style Jacket with under chin collar snaps. Additionally, the hood uses an adjustable internal draw cord for a secure fit and provides the warmth needed for working, walking, hunting, hiking and other activities. Carhartt also incorporated durable  water-repellent (DWR) into the outershell finish to shed cold weather elements like rain, sleet and snow.
