A canceled check dated 1949 from the Nickel Plate Railroad (New York, Chicago and St. Louis Railway) to Walsh Neon Signs in Pennsylvania. The check is for $30.00 and dated June 29 1949. The Check is issued from The National City Bank of Cleveland Terminal Square Office. There are signatures on the check which you can see in the pictures. This piece of railroadiana paper item was manufactured in the United States.The front of the check is stamped The N.Y.C.& St.L. R.R. Co. The back of the check is canceled July 7, 1949 from National City Bank, Cleveland, Ohio. It is also endorsed by the Walsh Neon Signs 1109 Montpelier Ave Erie, PA. There is a stamp on the back from the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland Clearing house. There is also a stamp from the Marine National Bank of Erie PA. There is an additional stamp on the back from the Cleveland Federal Reserve that has been stamped over. All stamps are visible in the pictures as is the condition.Great pre-owned condition. No creases or fold
