This dress is so comfortable and flattering. It is a classy, black and white plaid print which has a bit of stretch to it. It is form fitting with pleats on one side that give a very slimming effect. It zippers down the back. Wear it sleeveless in summer and in the winter with a jacket or sweater. I'm 5'6" and it falls just above my knees. Worn once for a wedding. No rips, tears or stains
