Calla Blanche Maura Wedding Dress (fall 2022)

The dramatic floral appliqué lace with underlay of chantilly lace and just a few clear sequins to catch the light stole my heart! Since we had a beach destination wedding, I wanted a dress that felt appropriate for the venue and would be easy to transport - no wrinkling is a definite plus! The chantilly lace reminds me of coral and the dramatic lace overlay is really eye-catching, not to mention the incredibly dramatic train. It was really comfortable to wear (there is just nude jersey under the double lace layers), just sexy enough, and made me feel beautiful! You definitely don’t need too many accessories with this dress either, so it’ll save you money there! While the dress was professionally cleaned just after returning home, the very bottom has some slight discoloration but really isn’t noticeable since there is so much to draw the eye elsewhere. Hemmed to fit my 5’4” height and 2” heels. Sewed up part of the front V as it was very deep to make it slightly more modest. 1-point bustle added (shown in one of the photos) Note that it is a size 18 label, but I’m a size 10-12 in dresses.
