I don’t know much about the artist except that she was so loved by the people of McFarland, California that they named the town library after her. This dramatic watercolor features a silhouetted farmhouse, water tower and barn underneath a dramatic sky. The visual image is 16 x 22 inches and has been matted to 18 x 24 inches. The artwork is in very good condition and probably dates to circa 1970. Clara signed it ‘C. Jackson’ in the bottom right corner.
