Handmade stoneware bottle vase by Cady Clay Works of Seagrove, North Carolina—America’s storied pottery village. The studio is led by potters John Mellage & Beth Gore, known for wheel-thrown forms and earth-toned, ash-influenced glazes that celebrate Carolina clay. This ovoid bottle (approx. 9" H x 6.5" W) features a sandy, textured body with cream slip bands spiraling the form and a celadon-blue, crackled rim. Base bears the Cady Clay Works stamp and a handwritten ’02, indicating production circa 2002 in Seagrove. A warm, minimalist accent that fits rustic, wabi-sabi, Japandi and modern farmhouse spaces.
Condition: excellent; no chips or cracks; light shelf wear to base only.
