1950's handmade dropped-waist dress... usually the 50's is too short-waisted for me, but this one is GREAT for a tall gal or long torso! The color is an orangey salmon... it looks quite pink in the pictures, but it's definitely more on the 'orange' side (first picture is a little more accurate) The fabric is a cotton weave, almost has a 'denim' type look to it when you look closely, but it's not nearly as thick or heavy as denim. The dress is fairly weighty overall, though. The three buttons on the bodice are functional, and then there is a metal side zipper. Off-white eyelet collar and cuffs. The white parts have some yellowing around the edges (picture 9 shows kind of a 'ring-around-the-collar effect), but it doesn't detract from a distance, no one else would even notice. Picture 10 shows a darker discoloration I found on the back hip, but it's underneath the dropped-waist overhang... I flipped the dropped-waist edge UP to show the spot in the picture. Fits me as a S, with a little extra bust room (I'm 34B). Please compare the measurements below with a dress you have at home that fits well.
