COPY - Janus Roman God Pendant Black Leather Necklace, God of Past and Present

This is an abstract Nouveau-ish style pendant of the Roman God Janus who, in Roman mythology, symbolizes new beginnings, past and future, and war and peace. Janus was the God of new beginnings and transitions and presided over passages, doors, gates and endings, as well as in transitional periods such as from war to peace. He was usually depicted as having two faces looking at opposite ways, one towards the past and the other towards the future. It's also where our month of "January" derived its name. It represents the acknowledgment of the past and hope for the future. It is being sold with the black leather necklace not the silver shown in one of the pics.
