zardiva1 Hey, @fionaspassion that's only about a 20 minute drive from me! My best friend has lived there for years (and currently does) but is about to move soon (a little further north but still not far from me). My ex was raised there and was still there during the time we were together and for sometime thereafter. (As of now, I don't know (or give a crap 😄😄😄) where he lives.) zardiva1 Awww, thanks, @toryshop! 😘 He was an impromptu rescue after my dog died. We saw him alone in my grandparents’ yard. Based on his size, I assumed he should still be nursing & wouldn't survive long (I don't remember seeing his bio Mommy). We bought milk on the way home & made a vet appointment. I then spent like a week searching & reading all kinds of cat info on the net (& seeking advice from experienced cat parents 😄) so I could be a great Mommy (I think I've succeeded 😄). I adore my baby 😊💕💜💕😘🐾

zardiva1 @bdbcsr Oh, my baby is super loved & cared for, LOL! 😄 He'll be 13 in about 1 1/2 months & doesn't look or act like it at all; still energetic, still can run at warp speed, LOL, and no majorly-debilitating health issues 👍 YESSSSS! (LMBO) 😄🎉 So far, so good 👍😊 (He has chronic kidney disease which was caught very early & has been in remission for 6 years; prescription food has kept it from progressing since it was diagnosed and it hasn't caused him any problems so far 👍😊)

tiffikaufmann Thanks for sharing! Your cat is adorable and looks so well behaved. We got a rescue cat since April and he's around 9 months old. Together with my Havanese (she's smaller) he takes the house apart and u threaten him daily I'll make mittens of him. But our pets are family and my 2 year takes naps with him UNDER her bed. azurebluecanary I see you were talking about sharing to the parties. From what I understand an item only should be shared to s party once because it will only show once and sharing it again doesn't change its position in the party feed. So if I share my thing to the party and then later you or someone else shares it to the party nothing happens. Also if you share a non retail item to a party it won't show up there. In the iOS app on iPhones it won't let you share an item that's no retail to that party. Pt 1

If you're sharing from the website it won't stop you from sharing to a retail party but if the item isn't marked retort just doesn't get added to the party feed. I thought you might like to know that since you are so generous with sharing Posh love. 😻

A percentage will follow you back and share back. The more followers you have the more people will see your closet, and your followers will see your shares in their feed. 😻

zardiva1 @azurebluecanary I use my own "My Shares" page as my source for sharing to parties. I start at the top & visually scan the page for items that fit the theme of the party I'm sharing to. Each item I come across that fits, I hit the "Share" button. On the devices I use, if I accidentally hit "Share" on an item that doesn't fit the theme, a message will pop up saying that it can't be shared to this party & it won't even go through at all. So basically, this is my party-sharing M.O., LOL 😄

abstractdreams He's named after Ozzy Osbourne & eats the weirdest things (he's had obstruction surgery from eating dryer sheets! Lavender scented!) & is not right in the head! Lol! She was already my heart & 6-7 yrs old when I got him & he was jealous from the start!👎🏽My oldest daughter rescued his entire litter @ about 2 wks old, when they were dumped across the rd from her! She & a bud kept them all alive & got them homes! She kept 2 & brought him to me.💕

I always said he'd be fine as an only child & he seems to be settling in now that it's been 2 weeks & he hasn't gotten yelled @ once (Ebony would never defend herself, so I had to break up their altercations)!👍🏽

I have to be diligent about keeping any and all of these out of his reach 😄 Luckily, he's never had to have surgery for it; he always eventually just pukes it right back up 😆

abstractdreams I don't think the hurt of that loss ever "goes away." I was watching Super Soul Sunday & Oprah had assembled a group of ppl who have all lived & written about faith more than religion. One of them quoted a Native American leader "God gave man animal guides because he knew Animal Spirit would not for get the orig instructions & man would." Those were to love unconditionally, play, don't judge & be present.💕Love that.

I did a lot of animal rescue stuff on fb & had to stop because the horrible way we treat animals & the tragic nature of that work was impeding my recovery! Then you read about a dog that crosses a freeway to help/save another animal! Or saves a person who hurt them! 💕I always said that there's more "humanity" in animals than humans!

abstractdreams Your kitty is hopefully smarter than one I had back in the day, but I also wanted to tell you, he loved to lay inside bags of any kind, & got startled by something, prolly our other cat & in his attempt to get out of it quickly, his head got caught in the handle & he ran thru the house...eyes wide😳peeing everywhere!! I think he thought that bag was chasing him! He didn't stop until we managed to catch him! That boy wasn't right in the head either! Lol! But he was the sweetest, most lovable cat.💕

Some of the pets we see look terrible, apparently pretty neglected 😓 I've also seen people hit their dogs while there 😢 Also, I had to quit reading animal abuse articles, which caused me 💔 & their message boards, which had me 😡 @ jerks saying stuff like "It's JUST a (dog/cat)." 😡!

It was 2 weeks ago today & I haven't heard a "how are you?" from them! Miss Ebony (who's middle name was Queen) was as much my child as my daughters are & there was sibling rivalry to prove it! Lol! He was in my grandparents' front yard alone (no colony); I don't think his bio Mommy was around 😕 Our vet estimated his age to be "4 or 5 weeks old." He was so tiny I could pick him up with one 🐾 & he could literally stand completely in my 🐾 (😆).

zardiva1 @janienez Pandy likes to be around me a lot, too; he's always "knocking" (with his cute little paw 😄) on my door as a way of "asking" me to open it up and let him in, LOL. Most of the time, he'll walk right over to the side of my bed and jump up onto it, then lie down and just hang out with me for hours while I'm on the computer 😄 Like your kitty, Pandy likes to run his furry little mouth 😆 and I sometimes get a kick out of mimicking his cute little meows and various kitty sounds 😄

zardiva1 @mmwalters13 My kitty was an impromptu rescue after my dog died. We saw him in my grandparents’ yard. I assumed he was too young to survive alone; he was so tiny & was feral. (I don't remember seeing his bio Mommy.) Our vet said he was about "4 or 5 weeks" old! I spent like a week searching & reading all kinds of cat info on the net (& seeking advice from experienced cat parents) so I could be a great Mommy to him. (I think I've succeeded; he’s almost 13 & still doing pretty great! 👍😃🎉)

After my dog died, we hadn't planned to get another pet for like a year (my last dog died just 5 weeks prior to rescuing my kitty) & it would've been another dog. It never would've occurred to us to consider a cat; we had no experience with them & simply weren't used to them. However, I'm so glad we found him & kept him 👍😃 He helped me get happy again after losing my Eskie ^Prince^ 🌈🌉💜😘

Their features are shaped like those of the Huskies but they’re solid white (or in some cases, cream) with no markings and are much smaller than Huskies. They usually have dark brown eyes. They look like walking snowballs, LMBO 😆 (My uncle actually named his Eskie "Snowball" 😆) Poms, Eskies & Huskies are all categorized in a group of dog breeds called “Spitz” because of their somewhat wolf-like features.

zardiva1 @wrightfoxy You mean how small are Eskies? Well, actually, they come in 3 sizes: Toy, Miniature and Standard. Standards are the biggest ones and can be up to 35 pounds when they're full grown. (My Eskie was a 35-pound Standard.) However, Eskies in general tend to look bigger than they really are because of how long, thick and fluffy their fur is; you can see their true size when they get completely wet, like for a bath.

zardiva1 @wrightfoxy Oh, I adore Poodles, too! One main reason is their curls. For some reason, I've always had a thing for curls, both on dogs & humans, LOL! Whenever I see curls, I just have this strange urge to play with them, LOL, though, of course, I typically can manage to resist 😆 Curls just look so cute & sweet to me 😄 By the way, since the Toy-sized Eskies tend to weigh only about 10 pounds or so, you probably *could* manage to hide one among your inventory, LMBO! 😂😂😂

The calculation of 🐱🐱 ages, as compared to 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, was explained thusly: 1 y.o.🐱 = 15 y.o.💁; 2 y.o.🐱 = 24 y.o.💁. For every year/age after 2, you add 4. So 3 y.o.🐱 = 28 y.o.💁, 4 y.o.🐱 = 32 y.o.💁, & so on. So even @ "68", our 🐱🐱 still potentially have a good amount of life left; I mean, hey, there are 68 y.o. *👨‍👩‍👧‍👦* out there who still "live it up", LOL, so our 🐱🐱 could, too! 👍😃😆😉🎉

zardiva1 @misskay235 My dog had just died 5 weeks prior to my rescue of my kitty 😥😢😪😭 We went to visit my grandparents (in WV) and found him alone in their front yard. Prior to this visit, we hadn't planning on getting another pet for like a year or so. But we brought him home (to MD) in a box and ended up taking him to the vet 3 days later. The vet estimated he was only "4 or 5 weeks" old; we had to feed him *formula* for the first week, LOL. Now, at 13 years, he's still doing pretty great! 👍😃🎉

zardiva1 @misskay235 Oh, I was *BIG TIME* devastated when my (15 y.o.) dog died 😪 I'd had him since I was a kid. I'll never forget that pain; for 3 days, I didn't eat & mostly 😴 & 😭 I was on the subway from a concert when he died; he lay down to sleep & just never woke back up. My mother found him dead ☹️ & called my father's cell to tell him. He told me when I got in the car & I 😭 all the way home. When we got home, I saw my mother crying, too (which broke my 💔 even more; she is SO NOT a cryer ☹️).

misskay235 @zardiva1 our animals are like our children. Only the behave better and always happy to see us. Grief over an animal is just as hard as it is when a person dies. Bless your heart. That was why I didn't want another pet. However, on having another pet, it has helped me heal. Not that I will ever for a minute forget the other ones. Just another one to love.

After Prince died, the house felt so empty ☹ I missed his feisty, happy barks, his smile, his big ol' fluffy, curled-up tail 😆 his overall cuteness, & what I affectionately referred to as his "tappie dancing" (LMBO! 😆😆😆), which was the way he’d rapidly "tap" his 🐾 which sounded, to me, much like tap dancing, because of the sound of his nails "click-clacking" on the floor 😆😆😆 He often did this when he was happy to see any of us the 1st time on a given day 😃🎉

misskay235 @zardiva1 that was a precious nick name. They are all so very different. I agree about them behaving better than children. My daughter treats me like I am a monster. Rarely comes unless she needs something. I am an inconvenience to her. So I don't bother her. She did give me a birthday card that sounded appreciative this year. She has a two year old daughter herself. Think it's coming to her how much I sacraficed for her as a single mom. I spoiled her.
