Our Bethany bags have been constructed by only the most experienced artisans, adhering to uncompromising standards handed down over generations. These bags are unique products in that each one showcases the individual technique of the artisan who created it, and are also reflective of the rich Indian heritage which dates back centuries to their ancestors who wove heirlooms by hand for the maharajas and maharanis. Each Bethany bag is made up of 150 to 250 meters of hand-woven leather strips that have been manually cut and selected for uniformity and color. Depending on the shape of the bag, some styles are woven and sculpted on a last and others are woven into panels and then cut and sewn to form the bag. Excellent pre-owned condition.
