I love this back pack. I’ve used mine several times for traveling and hiking. The side pockets are zipped so there’s no risk of items placed in it to fall off and harder for pickpocketers to get into. When I used it hiking I just keep it unzipped and fitted a big bottle of water. The added drawstring features is another security feature as well for me. Plus if you were using this as a personal bag when flying, the drawstring part gives you an extra space to stash extra layer of clothes or sweater The top cover also has extra pocket for things that you will need to access easily like passport, ID and wallet. I love the thick padding on the shoulder strap, it makes it more comfortable to carry heavier stuff and for long use. And I love the added loop to give you easy access for your car keys and such.
