Both of the earlier bags were made in the NYC plant for a short time in the early 80s and then slightly revised. The bag continues to be a Coach favorite for its roomy carrying capacity with 2 front and back exterior slip pockets. They're so handy for organizing your things. As for the condition, the bag is in good condition. These bags were built like tanks. Besides scuffing/scratches, there is stretching of the pockets. The interior is clean. Clean, solid, tailored, and ready for toting!
