This amazing man is Kevin, he started off as my step-father but legally adopted me as an adult. He is a veteran, cowboy, and the backbone of our family. Five years ago he struggled with the VA to find out the reasoning behind consistent health issues and received a misdiagnosis. After seeking an outside provider we received the earth-shattering news that he had stage four lung cancer. By the time he received his diagnosis and began treatment, the cancer had spread drastically. He has gone through multiple brain surgeries, lost all mobility, and was recently placed on hospice. In honor of his fierce fight and the inevitable outcome, I want to find purpose while bracing for impact. *November 29, 2025 Dad found peace.❤️ Fxck Cancer is a nonprofit organization that provides resources and tools focused on early cancer detection, prevention, and programs geared towards providing support to those effected by cancer.
