A necklace designed by Chantecler of Capri. Fabulous statement twisted necklace, created in the island of Capri in Italy by the jewelry house of Chantecler during the mid century period, back in the 1960. This rare and beautiful vintage necklace has been crafted with an intricate woven pattern of twisted wires made up in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with textured finish. It is embellished with a great selection of fifty natural earth mined diamonds and is fitted with a concealed security box lock with a discrete hinged figure 8 for extra safety. We've never seen such uncharacteristic style from Chantecler, this obviously is one of the first pieces the Maison created. Diamonds: Mounted in four-prongs settings, with 50 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, with a total of about 5.15 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS-2 clarity.
