Truth be told, I purchased from an estate sale and was so excited to find it - I didn’t notice the cigarette smell until I got home. I am going to leave it open to air it out as best as I can but full disclosure, it does smell like cigarette smoke. 😔 I haven’t sprayed it or anything yet, thought I would post before I attempt to clean… but if I can get the scent out, I’ll probably delete the listing as I’ll want to keep!!

1halo1 try placing a small bag of bamboo charcoal for smoke smell. I have heard it works well but never tried myself.

uchicagoprep Re: cig smoke - consider hand washing the pouch in cold water with Laundress Delicates detergent. I have this pouch in burgundy, & washed it. It was fine. I know you’re not “supposed” to wash items like these, but I am OCD about germs. If you want to be cautious, you could try to only wash a small area of the pouch, eg. using a small stain brush.
