@leachj974 if you are referring to Chanel items sold in boutiques/stores - I would say you are correct but actually some items are made in Italy. I.e Small Leather Goods, Shoes, and believe it or not Handbags..
The item that is posted is a Promotional item that Chanel gifted out - hence the Not for Sale on the box as well.
