baileyscloset95 Hi everyone - I want to share what happened with this seller, and I can provide screenshots if anyone needs them. I purchased a Chanel jacket from her about a week and a half ago. I reached out multiple times with zero response - not even a quick update. Since items over $500 on Poshmark must be shipped to HQ for authentication, I eventually said: “If you’re not going to ship the item for authentication, please just refund me.” Still nothing.

baileyscloset95 I then had to get Poshmark Support involved to reach out on my behalf. Only after that did she finally reply, saying the jacket had been sold on another platform - which was confusing because the listing here was still active.

baileyscloset95 While all of this was happening, I noticed spacing and lettering issues on the CHANEL tag that looked off - myself and a friend compared it to authentic ones, and it raised red flags. Because of the lack of communication, the sudden claim that it was sold elsewhere, and the questionable tag, I asked her directly if she was trying to sell a replica as authentic.

baileyscloset95 Instead of simply clarifying, she got extremely hostile - threatening that her “sister is a lawyer” and saying she would sue me for defamation. Then, after saying it was already sold, she told me “sis don’t be mad when it’s up again tomorrow” … so was it sold, or not? She also started making irrelevant comments about her parents living in a million-dollar home - as if that proves authenticity? The whole situation has felt very off, very inconsistent, and totally unprofessional.

baileyscloset95 I’ve provided the screenshots and communication to Poshmark. They are reviewing it now. I just want buyers protected - when something doesn’t add up, we should be able to ask questions without getting threatened. THE GOOD NEWS is that Poshmark canceled the order and I’m in the process of getting a refund but I’ve asked them to review the seller and this whole case.
