CHAMPAGNE GLASS Plate By Wayne / CAPE COD SAND / 1000’s Of Bubbles / COBALT BLUE

This unusual art glass creation comes from the Cape Cod region of Massachusetts. Its creator is only known as Wayne and they are extremely rare. The 1000’s of bubbles trapped inside the hand made cobalt glass led Wayne to call this ‘Champagne Glass’. A neat surprise is that the circular center is hollow and contains real beach sand from Cape Cod. The original Wayne foil sticker is on the back and the glass has been etched ‘Wayne’ and ‘88’.for 1988. The rare plate measures 6 3/4 inches wide by 1 1/8 inches thick. It is in excellent condition.
