"Ragged Glory" is a 1990 album by Neil Young & Crazy Horse, known for its raw, noisy guitar sound and extended instrumental jams. The album features a mix of new material, remakes of older songs, and a cover of "Farmer John" by The Premiers. Themes explored include love, humor, reminiscence, and a retrospective feel, with some songs referencing past events or musical influences. "Country Home" and "White Line" are newly recorded versions of songs Young played with Crazy Horse in the 70s but never released. "Farmer John" is a cover of a garage rock classic, and "Days That Used to Be" borrows the melody from Bob Dylan's "My Back Pages". "Mother Earth (Natural Anthem)" is a reinterpretation of the folk standard "The Water Is Wide" with new lyrics.
