It features Clapton performing his own songs in acoustic arrangements, as well as blues classics that have influenced him. The album, which was filmed at Bray Studios in England, includes iconic renditions of "Tears in Heaven" and "Layla". It became the best-selling live album of all time and won three Grammy Awards. The album was created during a period of personal reflection for Clapton, following the tragic loss of his young son, Conor.
