Condition: Very good pre-owned retro. DISCLOSURES: Paper tag has been torn away, should be XL given the measurements. There is a 1" spot on front towards bottom that seems like tape residue, may be removeable w/ some effort. There are a few spots on back that are faded more than the rest of the color. Close up of graphic may show lettering as gray, this is not accurate, paint is white like the first photo (not sure why this happened). All of these issues are shown in photos. Initially the club was intended to host roots music, but turned out to be the critical birthplace and incubator for the NYC punk and new wave scenes. This club launched the careers of iconic bands like THE RAMONES, Blondie and Talking Heads. "Gourmandizer" was a twist on its usual meaning of "an eater of food", but instead refers to someone who veraciously consumes or "eats up" music, especially new, emerging sounds.
