This is a unique coffee brewer made in Portugal and rare to find. Used a few times It looks brand new and works perfect only flaw one tab on lid is off but doesn’t effect lid cover as shown in 4 picture. Water is poured into the top glass container, coffee into the center holder which swings out. It uses Melitta #4 paper filters or you can purchase a 'gold' permanent filter; and your favorite grind coffee. It takes about 4.5 minutes for the water to reach a rolling boil then it automatically drips through the coffee giving you a perfect cup of coffee, without over extracting. This technique is a classic gourmet method similar to a French press without the solids floating in your cup. The pot sits on a warmer and one can disconnect the plug and carry the brewer to your table for serving while the warmer holds the temperature. I loved it and I know you will as well!
