The Cabbage Patch Craze from 1983 caused a tremendous demand for the product. It was impossible to buy one of the dolls even after standing in huge lines for the opportunity. Lynn Capes from New Orleans, put her incredible sewing talent to work and produced a hand made Cabbage Patch Doll that had all the beautiful features of the original except for the plastic face. This is one of her incredible handiworks.
