sumerc I don't know what you're going through but it helps to verbalize things. I've always been quiet and bc of that I have almost destroyed my life.. My little brother is also battling cancer right now.. There's way more but it makes me sick thinking about all the worries I have.

sharlovesalex @sumerc It does help...but at this point, I feel like if I don't talk about it, it kills me because I'm still thinking about it. But if I do talk about it, it kills me. I'm so sorry about your brother. I can't even imagine what that must be like. And to have that on top of whatever else is going on in your life must be extremely difficult.

sumerc I know exactly what you mean. I'm a thinker and battle w major depression and anxiety that never really stops. I have two sons 😊 they are 14 & 13 though.. And taller then me.. Do the best everyday even if your best is just waking up and getting out of bed..

sharlovesalex @sumerc Thank you. It is hard. I'm a thinker too, which makes it so much worse - I can't stop thinking. I think I had a panic attack this morning at like 5 am. I woke up shaking really violently and had a hard time going back to sleep. Life can be so hard sometimes. You don't look old enough to have teenagers!!

sumerc I'm 34 lol 😝 time goes so fast. What is your sons name? Have you talked to a doctor? I had to get a therapist bc I couldn't talk through all the trauma that has happened within this last year. I'm also a nurse

sharlovesalex @sumerc I'm 34!! My son's name is Alexander. He's my only one! My mom I'd actually a therapist and has suggested I get back into therapy. I haven't decided if I want to or not. I know my therapist wouldn't say I told you so, but I know he advised me against getting into the relationship I just got out of.

sharlovesalex @sumerc I do too, girl. I really do. Every day I wish I could just hide in bed until it was all over...it's so bad, every time I reply to you, I am near tears. I've struggled before and had some pretty rough times before, but I never thought I'd have to go through what I'm going through now. So I know what you're feeling. All you can do is get through each day and pray it gets easier to do that.

heavensfallen "This, too, shall pass". A quote I love. I struggle with depression and severe social anxiety. Everyone has a story, has something going on in their lives. But no one story is exactly the same. No one suffers exactly the same. And no one person's struggle is worse or better than another's. It is what it is. But it WILL pass. It will ALWAYS pass. One way or another, it'll get better. You just have to ride it out and know that it'll all be okay.

heavensfallen You're a strong, beautiful person who can make it through anything that comes your way. It's okay to want/seek help, and it's okay not to want/seek help. If you need someone, just look, and you'll find someone. Just know you're never ever alone, and though it's your journey, you never have to walk it alone. Everything will be okay. I've found that sometimes guided meditation can help. Just to get you to feel grounded, help keep you from floating away or sinking. ✌️💖

heavensfallen @sharlovesalex My grandfather passed away from Pancreatic Cancer, diagnosed in January, passed Memorial Day that same year. Cancer. I can't imagine what you're going through. I hope all goes well and you're better soon. 💖 Stay strong, hun. Sending you all the luck and all the positivity in the world. 💖
