Butterfly belt buckle

1980s Vintage two-piece Belt Buckle in a Butterfly Design. It is 3.25" high by 4.75" wide. White Metal with Gold Plate. Designed by Joanne Cooper. There are metal loops on the back to attach a belt - leather or fabric. Excellent condition. Costume jewelry. Vintage. Timeless. Original designs created in wax before mold was cast. Very organic shapes. Joanne Cooper’s collaboration with Ciner in the 1970’s-80’s were seen in top fashion magazines including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and WWD. Her designs were organic and free-form. Her jewelry was sold in Sak’s, Neiman-Marcus, Henri Bendel.
