Rare find! Vintage Burberry loden long wool alpaca riding coat, made in Austria for Burberry Looks amazingly like the coat on Helga in the many Wyeth paintings. Features Loden green luxurious wool alpaca coat Button on cape/detachable Button-down front closure- 5 original woven leather covered buttons. Tabbed button accents on wrists Ventilation openings under arms Belt tie included Generous pleated vent in the back Two pockets Tagged Women's US 6/36 Stunning pattern styling on this coat and the fabric is soft, smooth very luxurious. I purchased it more than 2 decades ago, and it never found the occasion to wear it. Condition Preowned vintage condition Wear is commensurate with being a vintage item Inside fabric content - size tag shows extreme wear -visibility splitting in very fragile condition as shown. Hand stitching seen at both posterior armpit areas, unsure of circumstances-it was purchased this way. Buttons show some mild wear.
