 Growing Moringa Seeds * To grow Moringa from seeds, soak them for up to 24 hours to aid germination, then place in a moist environment. * Germination takes 3-14 days. * Plant seeds 1” deep in sandy loam soil, keeping it moist but not waterlogged. * For indoor starts, transplant when roots are strong and temperatures stay above 75°F, gradually acclimating seedlings to outdoor conditions. * Space seeds 4-6” apart in rows for leaf harvest and prune for a bushy shape. For zones USDA 9 to 10 Harvesting Moringa * Moringa thrives as both a crop and a landscaping plant, with edible leaves, roots, and pods. * It pairs well with basil, beans, and sweet potatoes, and can provide shade for other vegetables. * Moringa is impractical as a true microgreen but can be harvested as seedlings with true leaves. * Harvest leaves once the plant is 5’ tall, preferably in the morning or evening.
