Brutalist Modernist Vintage Big Gem Clip Earrings 1”

These are very interesting! They are definitely costume and as far as I can tell, are unsigned, but have runway and artistically brutalist almost gothic design elements. (I’ve missed maker’s marks before on textured pieces, especially with significant wear.) They remind me of swords or vines holding the gem, which I’m 99% sure is glass based on weight and coolness to touch. These have fairly heavy wear - primarily discoloration of the metal setting. I actually think the color contributes to their appearance. I believe they were originally gold tone but now more silver with texture and patina. These are 1” x 1”. Fairly heavy in the hand, though I just looked around for the second earring on my workstation because I forgot I was wearing it. So, not *that* heavy.
