Bruno Magli – Vintage Famous “Garbo” Black Suede Mid-Calf Boots

The name in Italian luxury footwear, these vintage Bruno Magli black suede mid-calf boots were the bomb in 2000s. Named after the 1930s Hollywood screen star, Greta Garbo, whose mysterious beauty and unparalleled fashion eye made her the toast of town before she retreated into obscurity (“I want to be alone.”) there was a resurgence of her sleek style but with a modern twist in the early 2000s with tailored menswear for women. Bruno Magli designed these boots specifically for her in 1930 and then re-launched them in the early 2000s. They sold out immediately! Beautifully maintained they are in good condition based on their exceptional craftsmanship and leather quality. They have a square toe in black suede with no wear and are a little higher than a traditional bootie – coming to lower to mid calf depending on your height. The inside leather is still in beautiful condition with no signs of cracking or peeling. The inside leg zipper has a pewter/brass metal tone with the Bruno Magli name on the zipper tag. The 3.5-inch heel is black patent and one shows a bit of wear but not noticeable unless you are at street level looking at it. Soles also show wear. (SEE PHOTOS). Size 9.5M.
