The bail is silver and textured. The stone is sliced fairly thin with gorgeous rough textures along the sides. Such a pretty piece in wonderful shape. Brown agate's chemical properties are primarily determined by its composition as a type of chalcedony, which is a form of silica (\(SiO_{2}\)). Its chemical makeup is mainly silicon dioxide, with trace amounts of other minerals and water bound within its microscopic crystal structure.
