Broken(?) Instax mini 7+ camera & carrying case

I didn’t get much use out of this before it stopped working. And maybe someone out there can fix it! I just opted to buy a new one. 🤪 It just flashes when on. I thought the film/batteries were the issue, but no luck there. Case included but no film.
