cospgsco This came out of my folks closet, I didn't find either with the watch but knowing my parents this is the real deal. It's sold as-is obviously but its a nice watch! Some research on the # would probably show it's authenticity.

cospgsco Hi, yes the battery is dead. I believe on any orders over 500 they do a free authentication so you'd be covered there.

derekbrownin527 real Breitling watches DO NOT have batteries in them!! They are made from Swiss timing mechanism for perpetual motion. Therefore don't require a battery. Think of it like those Huge grandfather clocks, do they have a battery in them??? NO!!!!! Because they have mechanical timing mechanisms in them!!! "Dead Battery" means "Fake Breitling" sorry man

scottedwards430 I’ve bought several watches that need batteries and almost every on require a movement to be replaced. The replacement movement for this watch is $400-500. I would take a gamble and buy this for $400 but nothing more. The seller should take it to a watch shop and have the battery replaced to confirm it works.
