Wheel-thrown stoneware goblet by North Carolina potter Brad Tucker of Seagrove, the historic pottery community active since the 1700s. Tucker’s work reflects the Sandhills tradition—iron-rich clays and layered alkaline/ash glazes—here in a handsome drip-glaze of blue and celadon flowing over warm russet brown. Elegant pedestal form with a vented stem, ideal as a small chalice, sipping cup, or sculptural accent. Incised maker’s mark on the stem.
Size: 5.75" H x 3.25" W; mouth approx. 2.5".
Uses: display, candle cup, ikebana/bud vase (liner recommended).
Condition: no chips or cracks noted; light shelf wear to foot, typical glaze variations and pinpricks from firing—present as made.
