Is it a push up, and is it true to size? I'm usually between a 34D and 32DD, though I can very occasionally wear a 32D.

It is a light push up, NOT like the heavy Victoria secret push up.
It is true to size. I’m normally a 34C in the CK and DKNY Brands, so this is too small for me!
