These boots are a matte finish and they have what is called “bloom”. This is where there is a white film on the boots. Totally normal on natural rubber. There are a few ways that help with “bloom”: 1. Damp cloth: Wipe the boots with a cloth dampened with cool, soapy water. 2. Olive oil: Apply olive oil to the boots with a soft microfiber cloth. If too much oil is applied, water can be used to dilute it 3. Mild detergent: Apply a mild detergent to the boots, gently scrub, and then wash or wipe. Other than the “bloom” these boots are in great condition
