Cream colored blouse with adjustable prissy bow tie. Bubble/capped sleeves (not entirely sure how you’d classify those sleeves 🤪). Black, red & white floral pattern on trim & bow. Original tags have been removed, but I believe the blouse to be a rayon/polyester blend and a size M/L fitted. Very good condition! Measurements upon request! Very cute retro inspired blouse! Wonderful for holiday or Christmas parties!

kelvh @nmb23 Hey there! I appreciate that, but I grew up with these types of bows being called pussy bows or pussycat bows. I just googled to make sure because I thought oh crap and doubted myself, but that is what they are called. They are typically a bit higher up on the neckline, but they get their name from the bows that used to be tied around cats & kittens necks. I did not know that!

kelvh @buyitwhenfound I’ve never heard of a peony bow before? The shirt is Peony brand. Pussy bows are usually a tad more tight and close to the neck, but that was the best way I could think to describe this blouse 😃

buyitwhenfound @kelvh I thought you were describing it as “Bow Shirt” preceded by “Brand” name. I have shirts with bows and can’t figure out how to describe them, I just assumed tie or bow, but LOVE theres actual terms for it. Never would have thought the bow itself had a terminology. 🎓 Love learning new things 💝

kelvh @prancingpeacock Yes, This blouse is stretchy (keep in mind it’s a Juniors size), but the more it stretches out, the more sheer it becomes. Just something to think about!
