@happydaisyb they do have stretch
To them are contain spandex. As for sizing they are an 18 in the source of wisdom brand that was bought from torrid last fall. I believe that they would be the equivalent of a torrid size 18 jogging when measured waist to waist they appeared slightly smaller when compared to my size 18 curvy skinny jeans from torrid about half an inch off in the waist
