Fantastic vintage Middle Eastern silver gypsy jewelry piece! I love the bright colored mirrored and glass pieces on this. This vintage Kuchi piece is packed full of detail and pattern. Tons of dangles with little ball and circle charms. This is attached to a black fabric backing that has been replaced as the original has deteriorated. The top is hand sewn with red and blue glass seed beads. You can tie it to the length you want. So it can be worn as a choker necklace, arm band or anklet! The main section is created from silver metal linked pieces. The glass accents are in pink, emerald green, cobalt blue and ruby red. The dangle chains with little balls hang down so that the softly jingle with your movement. Some even have old coins. Fabulous bohemian statement! Please keep in mind that most Kuchi and Turkoman / Turkmen / Turkomen items are old and used items with a distinct aged patina. They are a nomadic Afghan people who have created amazing jewelry for centuries. Their colorful jewelry combines new, old, metal, beads, coins, stones and fabric.
