imrana777 Is there a hole in the suede on the flap of the bag? Not sure if it’s a blimp in the photo?

sdeweese93 @imrana777 yes there are two holes one on each side of the flap. They are there for leather strings that can be pulled through for closure. it was handmade in the 1960s.

sdeweese93 I am looking at the bag now. At the top of shoulder strap the leather has started to come unlaced. I don’t want to mislead you at all! Gorgeous bag needs a little TLC being that it’s vintage and handmade .

imrana777 @sdeweese93 oh! I understand now. So they’re not moth holes but deliberate holes for the leather or the suede stripes to go through?

sdeweese93 @imrana777 no absolutely not moth holes!:)) it has a ton of details. The shoulder strap is extremely soft leather. The last pic shows you where the strap would need to be reinforced. Let me know if you have any more questions!
