riejoeyclausen Hello Anne, it is 38.5", the gold zippers on the botton of each thigh are 8", you can make the dress look shorter or longer by zipping them down or unzipping for more leg to show. I am 5'6" and the dress is 4" above my knees. I hope that helps!! Have a great day, Anne
