Never worn out. The color is listed as Secret Champagne - and that is exactly the color, right between gold and silver. I purchased these for my wedding and foolishly stepped outside onto the gravel side walk to see them in the sunlight - ended up lightly scratching the bottoms so I couldn't return them. They are just a half size too small for me - should've listened to their advice on the site to go up a half size! For me, this size 40 fits like a true 9. I imagine the leather basket weave would ultimately break in, but I didn't want to do that before my wedding. If they fit, I would definitely wear them casually or for an event.
