amaranth2590 @botablu Hi, sorry for the delayed response. So, the material is not stretchy but they are designed so you can move into about any position you can think of and they won't constrict or prevent movement. The measurement on the hips, laying flat from side to side is about 16 ½ inches and the inseam is about 10 ½ inches. I have a second pair that I wore for mma, and I currently use when weightlifting, surf, etc. they are great shorts :)
