Blue Vintage Women's Dress

This really is a beautiful vintage taffeta dress. As cute as it is from the front, all the action happens in the back! There is a large bow at the back of the waist, and cascading down from that is a panel of little ruffles all the way to the hem! I initially thought the dress was handmade, but then I found the Union Label tag inside. According to the tag, the dress was a size 8, but a 1950s size 8 is NOT a size 8 today! This dress is very small, probably the equivalent of a modern size 2 but I can't be sure. The dress is in excellent vintage condition and does not smell. From a smoke free home.
